NOTICE TO PATIENTS – STAFF SHORTAGE

The health centre is currently extremely short-staffed due to illness and difficulties in recruiting clinical staff.

This is having an impact on the level of service we can offer and is further affecting the waiting time for appointments.

We are doing everything in our power to enlist locum cover on a temporary basis, and are keeping Moray Health & Social Care Partnership fully appraised of the situation. Unfortunately, we are not alone in this. There is a national shortage of GPs and other highly trained clinical staff, and this is felt more acutely in our semi-rural area.

Please be assured that we are working hard behind the scenes to resolve the situation. In the meantime, please be patient with and respectful to both the reception and clinical staff who are still hard at work. The pressure on them is great, and they are doing everything in their power to prioritise those in most need of care.
